Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2020

In week 5 of Term 4 we celebrated NAIDOC WEEK 2020 “Always was, Always will be”. The NAIDOC celebrations here at school included a Flag raising ceremony, staff vs students dodgeball competition, two NAIDOC assemblies and an Art event in conjunction with DEAKIN University streamed live from our school to Federation Square in Melbourne. The week of celebration finished off with lunchtime activities at the end of the week including dancing, music and the creation of an Art mural. Thank you to the Aboriginal Education Team, Broome Girls Academy, Broome Clontarf Academy and to all of the staff and students who supported these events.
