New school build update
We are very excited to see how quickly things are moving with the school STEM building project. We already have timetabled classes in our two new chemistry labs, ensuring that our quality face-to-face teaching programs are taught in the best possible classroom environment. Our exciting new commercial kitchen is almost complete and our students will move straight into the modern facility.
Work continues on the cultural space at the entrance to the school, with the cultural building moving into its new home in early April. The two-story building on Frederick Street is progressing well with the unique roof recently in place. Completion of the project is expected to be in August this year.
The new classrooms and facilities will give a much-needed boost and complement the quality of face-to-face teaching and learning programs that Broome Senior High School provide to our students. The design will open the school up to the community and create a more inviting entrance that acknowledges the diverse cultures in our school community.
