WAAPA Perth trip
Recently the Senior School Music students spent two jam-packed days in Perth as an extension of the WAAPA-Broome Music Collaboration.
Students were invited to perform their original compositions at the annual ‘WAAPA Songbook Sessions’, held over two nights in North Perth. Students also visited and recorded at Rada Studios in Fremantle, one of WA’s premier recording studios, as well as a tour of the WAAPA facility at Edith Cowan University, Mount Lawley Campus.Â
Students sat in on jazz ensemble workshops and vocal training sessions. Broome Senior High School is building a strong relationship with WAAPA, enabling our students to pursue tertiary pathways at one of Australia’s premier Arts institutions.
