Former student showcased in Year 12 Perspectives exhibition
Only 45 artists had their work chosen for the 2022 Pulse Perspectives exhibition at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, and our recent student graduate Sanoe King was one of them.
For the past 30 years, Pulse Perspectives has showcased the best works made by Year 12 Visual Arts students from across the state. Sanoe’s artwork “Ground” is a 120 x 77cm mixed media piece exploring āthe deep connection between country and peopleā. She completed the work as part of her General Visual Art course.
The exhibition is on display at the Art Gallery of Western Australia until July 24, and a digital catalogue of all the works can be found on the Pulse Perspectives page at www. artgallery.wa.gov.au. We are very proud of Sanoe’s achievement, and can’t wait to see what she creates next.
