Ranger Cadets Program
The Ranger Cadets Program incorporates Bush Ranger Cadets WA and Indigenous Ranger Cadetship. The Ranger Cadets Program supports youth to take an active role in the conservation of the natural environment and to understand the mechanisms of environmental management. The Ranger Cadets model promotes leadership, personal growth and skills development as central key components of the program.
Bush Ranger Cadets WA
The Bushranger Cadets Program is endorsed by the Schools’ Curriculum Standards Authority (SCSA). Those students who meet its outcomes and requirements are credited with this information on their West Australia Certificate of Education (WACE).
Indigenous Ranger Cadetship
The Indigenous Rangers Cadetship is a great program about Rangers looking after country-Yawuru, Bardi-Jawi and Karajarri. Within the course, students learn about Conservation and Land Management covering plants and animals, marine life, fire control, weed control, land rehabilitation and coastal monitoring. Further training pathways can extend from the completion of this program.
