School Bus Code of Conduct
A considerable portion of our school’s student body relies on bus transport for travel to and from school. Recently, certain students’ conduct has been brought to our attention, raising concerns within the school community. This display of misbehaviour has prompted us to adjust our school bus services, prioritizing the safety and duty of care we owe to our students. While the primary responsibility for students’ behaviour lies with their parents or guardians, it is crucial that they ensure their children are familiar with and adhere to the Code of Conduct for bus travel.
Principals hold the authority to deny a student’s travel privileges should they breach this code in any manner. Consequences for such breaches may range from temporary suspension of travel privileges to permanent exclusion from using the bus services.
Parents and guardians are urged to have a discussion with their children regarding the significance of demonstrating respect and appropriate behaviour while utilising the school bus. By working together, we can guarantee a safe and positive experience for all our students.
