School Unveils Cutting-Edge STEM Room
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) room, a cutting-edge space designed to immerse students in hands-on learning with the latest technology. Equipped with advanced tools like a Laser Cutter, CNC Router, 3D Printers and a Vinyl Cutter, the facility offers students unique opportunities to engage with real-world projects.
This state-of-the-art STEM room was made possible through funding from the State Government’s Royalties for Regions program, with additional support from the Broome Senior High School P&C, Shell Prelude FLNG and Buru Energy. The project also benefited from the collaboration and support of local businesses and the community.
The new facility is set to play a pivotal role in preparing students for future careers in STEM fields, reinforcing Broome Senior High School’s reputation as a leader in innovative education.
