Sportsmanship on display at Interschool Athletics Carnival
The West-Kimberley Interschool Athletics carnival was held recently at St Mary’s College. There were many exceptional results and gestures of sportsmanship between St Mary’s College and Derby District students. Broome Senior high School athletes worked together to fill events and brave the heat to be awarded the shield for another year.
Year 10 student Baden Trunfio broke the Shot Put record, and Year 12 student Reshinta Bradshaw beat the High Jump record. Congratulations to all athletes who represented the school, the parent helpers and St Mary’s College for hosting this event.
