Students enjoy a night of glitz and glamour at Year 12 Ball
Saturday August 12 saw our Year 12 students firstly take centre stage on a packed grassy foreshore in front of Cable Beach. Coming together with friends and family at sunset, the students gathered whilst a myriad of snapshots and candid memories were enthusiastically captured on camera by mums and dads.
Students were then escorted to their venue by two full buses to Broome Wedding and Events, where they were greeted by the magnificent views over Simpsons Beach. The students disembarked and entered a night of enchantment and elegance. Nestled against the backdrop of breathtaking beach views, the venue was transformed into a haven of glamour and a theme of 1920s Speakeasy.
Dressed in their finest attire, students were greeted by a scene of twinkling lights, swaying palms and the soothing sound of ocean waves. The DJ set the mood for the rest of the night playing student selected songs with the ‘Nutbush’ bringing everyone onto the dance floor first. Dancing the night away saw Nateak Hunter and Jack Jack Roberts take out the Belle and Beau of the ball.
The night was a great success with special thanks to Mr and Mrs Spark for all the professional photos and and setup of the photobooth.
